Denne rapport vil omhandle min bachelorpraktik hos Danfoss AC-RL. Konkret vil formålet med denne
rapport være, at udarbejde et overordnet forslag til en fremgangsmåde vedrørende implementering af
forebyggende vedligehold igennem TPM konceptet.
Hvorledes implementeres forebyggende vedligeholdelse i laboratoriet?
This report will indentify the most convenient way of implementing preventive maintenance through the
TPM concept. In order to prepare a proposal in direct relation to the laboratory, the implementation
process will be based on the employees and the customer’s opinions on relevant subjects in regards to the
maintenance matter. Material from former attempt to implement TPM will also be analyzed with focus on
purpose, internal benefits and previously difficulties and resistance. At last relevant theory will combine the
actual analysis and present a proposal of implementation.
The first action is to clarify in which way the problem express it’s self in the department. The questionnaires
answered by the employees and the customers are compared, and it shows a misalignment between
customers’ demands and experienced consequences at the present of a failure, and the actual effort
provided by the laboratory in regards to maintenance. By this clarification the rest of the report will be
dedicated to answer:
How can prevented maintenance be implemented in the laboratory through the TPM concept, with focus
on the change - strategy and the build-up of crucial elements in the implementation?
After this initial phase the first step is to determine which change – strategy best suits the laboratory in
order to create a successful implementation. The two main approaches will be discussed – namely
Appreciative Inquiry and the rational principle. Based on experience and empirically observations, the
rational model of Kotter is selected.
The last section in the report will present suggestions to concrete challenges in the implementation, by
combining theory from TPM and leaderships in change.
The implementation plan is divided into 11 steps. The circumstances of each step will be processed based
on questionnaires, previously attempt on implementation and organization and project theory.
Implementering af TPM i laboratorium
First and foremost a sense of urgency is established in regard to the customers’ demands and the
employees’ wishes. The sense of urgency has also great influence on what purpose and benefits the
laboratory must stay focused on. Then an educational campaign will be established with focus on the 8
columns’ of TPM. The need for a TPM organization, objective and vision is then developed in regards to the
fundamental competencies’ in the department. At the end of this phase a master plan will gather the whole
implementation in order to create an overview.
The next phase is dedicated to communication and elimination of challenges. The development of a
stakeholder analysis and communication plan, along with basic precautions in regard to embracing
difficulties is processed.
The implementation stage focuses on the 8 columns of TPM and in which way this can be realized. At last,
procedures to keep the flow and improvement in the implementation are made visible and circumstances
regarding keeping the change in the culture are embraced.
